SMX is a wholly owned subsidiary of Financial Technologies (India) Limited, a leading provider of trading technology solutions and a global leader in creating and operating transparent, efficient, and liquid tech-centric exchanges transacting a broad spectrum of asset classes, including equities, commodities, fixed income, and foreign currency instruments. The Financial Technologies group has successfully established and currently manages ten exchanges (five in India including MCX and MCX-SX and one each in Dubai, Singapore, Botswana, Mauritius and Bahrain). It also manages six eco-system ventures to address upstream and downstream opportunities around these exchanges including clearing, depository, information vending and payment gateway among others.
